Udupi, Sep 28: Police have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of private bus owner Saiffuddin, which occurred on September 27 within the jurisdiction of Malpe police station.
The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Faisal Khan (27), resident of Mission Compound, Udupi; Mohammed Sharif (37), resident of Karamballi, Kunjibettu; and Abdul Shukoor (43), resident of Katipalla.

The accused were produced before the court following their arrest.
The operation was carried out under the guidance of Udupi sub-division dysp D T Prabhu and led by Malpe circle inspector Ramachandra Nayak, with the active participation of psi Anil Kumar D of Malpe police station and his team.
