Missing Haryana youth traced in Trasi, handed over to parents by Gangolli police

Kundapur, Sep 28: A youth from Haryana who had gone missing was traced at Trasi in Gangolli police station limits and handed over to his parents by the Gangolli police with the help of locals.

The youth, identified as Shivam (22) from Yamunanagar, Haryana, had recently gone missing from his home, following which the Haryana police had registered a case.

Shivam had boarded a train in which a group of youths from Trasi were also travelling. They informed the police after recognizing him, and on confirmation, Gangolli PSI Pavan Nayak, crime PSI Sunil, head constable Chandra and other staff traced the youth and contacted his parents.

Coordinating with the Gangolli police, Shivam’s parents flew down to Mangaluru from Haryana and later arrived at Gangolli station, where their son was handed over to them.

The parents expressed gratitude to the police and the public for their timely efforts.
