Bengaluru, Sep 27: The cameras are rolling at full throttle as Kichcha Sudeep’s action thriller Mark moves swiftly towards its grand Christmas Day release. Directed by Max filmmaker Vijay Kartikeyan and backed by Sathya Jyothi Films, the multilingual project promises a high-octane cinematic experience, with many details still under wraps.

Sudeep brings his trademark intensity to the screen, while the film reportedly avoids the conventional “heroine” trope, instead creating space for complex and impactful female roles. Nishvika Naidu and Roshni Prakash, along with actors Naveen Chandra and Deepshikha, are already part of the ensemble.

The latest addition is Archana Kottige, who has officially joined the cast and shot a few sequences. Known for her strong performances in content-driven cinema, including Hondisi Bareyiri, Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare, Jugalbandi, and Forest, Archana steps into her first big-ticket commercial outing with Mark. While her character details remain under wraps, sources hint at an intriguing arc within the film’s intense narrative.

The technical team from Max reunites for this project, with B Ajaneesh Loknath composing the music and Shekar Chandru handling cinematography.
