Studies highlight the emotional burden caused by delayed diagnosis, lack of supportive information, and social stigma, emphasizing the need for patient-centric care and education.

Krati Purwar, 30, Lifestyle Journalist: Diagnosed in 2019-20, Krati struggles with weight gain, facial hair, cramps, brain fog, and fatigue. She emphasises that PCOS management is about lifestyle adjustments, nutrition, exercise, and stress management, rather than just weight loss.
Poulomy Dey, 27, PR professional: Diagnosed at 16, Poulomy faced social stigma and confusing medical advice. She stresses that PCOS is not a reflection of laziness or weakness and requires patience and individualized care.
