Mangaluru, Aug 13: A tragic incident occurred near Adyar on Wednesday morning when a bus conductor collapsed and died while on duty in a college bus belonging to Nitte (deemed-to-be university).

The deceased, Santosh (40), was a resident of Kuthar. He had been working with the Nitte institution for many years. On Wednesday morning, he was on a trip to pick up school students when the incident took place. While helping students board the bus, he suddenly collapsed.

Local residents rushed to assist and attempted to take him to a hospital, but he passed away on the way. Preliminary reports suggest that the cause of death was a heart attack.

Santosh is survived by his wife and children. Nitte institution has for many years been providing transportation for students from government schools and hostels, and Santosh was on one such trip when the incident occurred.

Very sad .Without any signs or symptoms simply fall and die?Something is in air we can say.Heartfelt sympathies to family .May his soul rest in peace. Why couldnt someone in bus or conductor could give him some heart massage there on spot or artificial breathing?Simply rushing to hospital ?It requires long time to reach hospital.Heart ,brain can within three minutes if oxygen is not supplied cant survive.
