Mangaluru, Jun 7: A youth named Kaushik was critically injured after being stabbed in Yeyyadi, Mangaluru, on Friday afternoon, in what is believed to be a revenge attack stemming from a previous altercation.

According to sources, Kaushik was stabbed by Brijesh Shetty and Ganesh from Bejai. The incident has left Kaushik in a critical condition, as the stab wound was inflicted near the abdomen.

Reports suggest that about a month ago, a minor dispute had broken out between Kaushik and Brijesh Shetty, during which Brijesh allegedly assaulted Kaushik. In retaliation, Kaushik had also attacked Brijesh. The stabbing incident on Friday appears to have been motivated by this earlier clash.

Kaushik is currently undergoing treatment, and his condition remains serious. Further investigation is underway.
