Bantwal, May 27: A man was brutally murdered at Kambodi Irakodi near Kolthamajalu on Tuesday, May 27.

The deceased has been identified as Raheem, a resident of Kolthamajalu. He was working as a driver of a pickup vehicle and was reportedly attacked while unloading sand.

According to sources, miscreants arrived on a bike and assaulted Raheem. Another person at the spot was also injured in the attack.

The incident took place within the limits of Bantwal rural police station. Further investigation is underway.

    How there is some sanity in the society . Leaders of all community must sit together and sort this issue once for all . Somebody’s family will be losing the bread earner . When can our society heal itself from these brutal bitterness.

    This is a disappointing development. Every time Mangalore takes ten steps toward progress, communal violence pulls it five steps back. This must stop. Both BJP and Congress should end their dirty politics over the dead bodies of innocent people.
