Mangaluru, May 19: Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta has been included in an all-party parliamentary delegation formed to convey India’s stance on terrorism to the global community in the backdrop of recent tensions with Pakistan.
Reacting to his selection, Capt Chowta said, “It is a great honour for me to represent India on a global platform for the first time. As a soldier, I take immense pride in the way India retaliated to cowardly terrorist attacks through Operation Sindhoora. I am deeply grateful for being chosen to be part of this delegation, which will serve as a voice for the vision and mission of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the driving force behind this initiative.”

He further added, “I will use this platform to communicate India’s message of zero tolerance towards terrorism and to showcase how New India is different, determined, and committed to its stand.”
The eight-member delegation, led by DMK MP Kanimozhi, will visit Russia, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, and Latvia.
