Mumbai, May 9: Popular American dancer and actress Lauren Gottlieb, who has carved a niche for herself in the Indian entertainment industry, has opened up about her emotional journey of transforming isolation into strength. Speaking to IANS, Lauren candidly shared how moments of feeling like an outsider eventually led her to discover a powerful sense of inner belonging.

“Over time, I’ve built such strong friendships and chosen family all over the world,” said Lauren. “Wherever I go now, it feels like I’m wrapped in a big, tight hug of love and support.

Immersing myself in different cultures has become something I deeply enjoy—it excites and connects me,” she added.

Known for her dynamic dance moves and grounded personality, Lauren revealed that the sense of disconnect she once felt helped her anchor herself spiritually. “So while I may have felt like an outsider at times in the past, I think that experience helped me find a deeper sense of belonging in myself. And now, that sense of home travels with me,” she expressed.

On the professional front, Lauren is currently being applauded for her choreography and performance in the high-energy track “Who rules the world” from Netflix’s upcoming series The Royals. The show features a star-studded cast including Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday and others. Bhumi portrays a fierce and driven CEO, while Ishaan steps into the shoes of a flamboyant party prince.

Lauren, who first gained prominence on So You Think You Can Dance and later won hearts in the Indian film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, became a household name after finishing as runner-up in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6 with choreographer Punit Pathak. She went on to serve as a judge on the show's eighth season.

With a journey marked by courage, cultural openness, and artistic excellence, Lauren Gottlieb continues to inspire fans across continents—proving that home is not a place, but a feeling nurtured by love, acceptance, and self-growth.
