Moodbidri: Bike rider dies after fall, suspicious death case registered

Moodbidri, Dec 7: Seetharama Acharya (49), a resident of Todaru village, died after falling from his bike on the NH near Bannadka in Padumarnadu village on December 5 evening.

The police have registered a case of suspicious death.

Seetharama, who is survived by his wife, son, and daughter, was running a gold ornament manufacturing business called Vignesh Machine Cutting at Jyotinagar, Moodbidri. He fell from his bike while returning home after distributing invitation cards for his son’s threading ceremony (Upanayana), which is scheduled for January 3.

The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
