Kundapura, May 22: Akshaya (32), a resident of Gobbarabettu in the Kota grama panchayat limits, has been reported missing since Tuesday, May 21, prompting the filing of a missing person's complaint with the Kota police station.

Akshaya, employed at a private fish processing unit in Kota, took leave at 11 am on May 21. He was last seen by his wife around 1 pm in Kota, where he mentioned having urgent matters to attend to before leaving. Despite extensive searches, he has not returned since.

His mobile phone was discovered amidst some thorn shrubs near Koravadi, traced through mobile tower signals. The Kota police are actively searching for him and have urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them at the telephone numbers 9686184490 or 9964143822.

    Its so sad,that persons go out saying urgent work or to meet someone and never return.Kindly tell at home where and why you have to attend,so that when dont come back atleast follow their routes or signs.Any crime ,any accident or gone somewhere to hide himself?sad Hope he returns back soon and with good health.
