Mangaluru, Apr 14: A massive crowd gathered in Mangaluru to witness the roadshow of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi on Sunday, April 14.

The event kicked off at Narayana Guru Circle at Ladyhill and concluded at Navbharath Circle. PM Modi was warmly welcomed at Narayana Guru Circle with an aarti ritual, followed by the garlanding of the statue of Narayana Guru before embarking on the roadshow.

The entire route was thronged with enthusiastic supporters eager to catch a glimpse of PM Modi. People could be seen enthusiastically chanting slogans in support of the PM and waving BJP flags.

Stringent security measures were implemented along the entire stretch from Narayana Guru Circle to Navbharath Circle. The area was adorned with colourful lights, LED displays, and high mast lighting arrangements, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Mangaluru was in support of Dakshina Kannada BJP candidate Capt Brijesh Chowta, and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru BJP candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary.

The event saw the presence of notable figures including MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, district BJP president Sathish Kumpala, MLA Mangaluru South Vedavyas Kamath, Mangaluru North MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty, Beltangady MLA Harish Poonja, Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik, Mulky Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian, Sullia MLA Bhaghirathi Murulya, and others.

They call India Bharath, and the Indian flag has been washed in Modi Washing Machine using Washing Powder Modi, and the tri colour is only saffron. Just see the pics, the only thing black is the tires of car, by next election the tire will be saffron too (and that is, if there are elections)

Both Kota & Chowta seek votes in the name of Modi and Hindu-Muslim division. Development, infrastructure, price rise - which should be the primary issues in any election...on these matters they behave as if a cat caught their tongues. On their own merit, they can't even win corporator elections! If people in the twin districts have the slightest of intelligence and self-respect left, they will not vote for these two geniuses

I do not see anything wrong. .Congress always indulges in Muslim appeasement and seek votes show causing as 'saviours of Muslims'. Its very obvious , as their top leaders contest from such 'safe constituencies, miles away from their home. Moreover, no one has stopped the Congress top leaders like the Rahul or Khagre to come and campaign for their candidate in Kudla or Udupi.

I perceive a decline in the Modi wave. Despite a sizable crowd of approximately 500 workers accompanying his vehicle, it seemed more like an attempt to fill empty spaces. This time, the level of anti-incumbency appears to be strong or there may even be a slight advantage for Congress candidates in regions like DK and Udupi. It wouldn't be surprising if the BJP's seat count in Karnataka drops below 14 this election. Similar sentiments may prevail in other areas as well. The BJP's actions, such as pursuing corrupt politicians through agencies like the ED and CBI but dropping cases once they join the BJP, have drawn criticism. Additionally, the party has faced backlash for its handling of electoral bonds, receiving donations from former adversaries and subsequently awarding contracts to these donors. OTher factors such low job opportunities for IIT ,Btech and other hi quality degrees has opened questions of Job opportunities in India .. India has still failed to eradicate poverty and the per capita income is below par as compared to other developed nations. People of India have doubts about the BJPs commitment to the constitution of India given to us by Dr BR Ambedkar which strongly professes equality and dignity of human life.

Caste division and crime rate high ..history points to. Invasion more. North India So very good traction for bjp here .. Now with electoral bonds scam .. out and out corruption has been proved .. Billionaire raj .. all cornering state assets .. lucrative contracts .. Brahmins Like Subramanian swamy openly questioning Modi and wrong policies and one man show .. All systems diluted .. in mangalore and surrounding Edigah and Poojari groups open revolt .. BJP May find it difficult with lost charisma .. no wave of Modi only media hype ... In 2019 BJP won with a vote share of 38 percent. Majority of these voters will continue to support BJP. However this vote share percentage is unlikely to go up any further. I think the main achievements of Modi Sarkar - Article 370, Triple talaq, Ram Mandir, CAA etc . may not get them any additional votes because those who wanted to bring these laws were already voting for BJP. According to a recent survey, vast majority of common people are more worried about unemployment and inflation. On the other hand, a slight increase in vote share percentage of opposition candidates is possible, especially in states where they have reached agreement on seat sharing. Even a gain of 30 or 40 seats for the opposition alliance could bring down BJP numbers to below 272 from the current 303. With the help of NDA partners BJP will be able to form a Government. And that is better for the Democracy.
