Udupi, Apr 11: As a significant stride towards empowering women financially, the Congress government's acclaimed ‘Gruha Lakshmi’ guarantee scheme has yielded positive outcomes in Udupi district.

A woman originally from Dharwad but now residing in Udupi has purchased a refrigerator using the funds she received through the ‘Gruha Lakshmi’ scheme. Renuka, a resident of Moodusagri in Udupi, expressed her joy in acquiring the new refrigerator, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ugadi.

She extended her gratitude to chief minister Siddaramaiah and deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar for their commitment to providing guarantees to the people of Karnataka.

    At least the tax money is going to poor, unlike Modi's guarantee LGP price touched the sky, fuel price huff we never dreamt before. So I don't regret paying tax. By the way Modi got plane with whose money? he is riding on all expensive cars whose money? he is wearing expensive clothes with whose money? It is our tax money.

    Many families have benefitted from the schemes introduced by the Congress government. Acche din have been given by Siddaramiah and Shiv Kumar government. All that the BJP has given are just slogans. Nothing else. The poor people have gained a lot from the Congress government.

    This ' Gruha Lakshmi is introduced by Congress Government, but irrespective of parties mostly many ladies are enjoying. But to continue this scheme in future Congress Government must in state. But the million dollar question is now how many ladies who have enjoying this freebies will vote for Congress?????
