You are right. In the event of Kannadikarana govt has kept stupid Kannada name to our Tulunad. It should be Mangalore (not Mangaluru also )or Kudla . Udupi and Mangalore together as Tulunad . And it is stupidity to attach our region under villagish Mysore which is so backward compare to Mangalore.

One thing I don't understand that why people are after 90% and above score in 10th n 12th. To get engineering seat CET scores, for medical Neet Scores, and for any payment seat just 50 to 55%. Then why toucher to the students in the name of scores. Is it because of the marketing gimic of private coaching centers that phycologicaly effects on people??

Please change district name from Dakshina Kannada (DK) to Mangaluru. Its very difficult to explain people in Bengaluru and other regions, that Mangaluru city is part of DK. All districts mostly are named after big city or taluk across Karnataka except for DK and UK districts. Its ideal to name DK district as Mangaluru district and try developing entire district and not only city parts. Also Congratulations to students of our district who have excelled and got 1st place. Wishing you all the best for your future.

Things are back to normal after Hijab issues. May God give wisdom to our politicians to fight against unemployment and provide jobs to all these brilliant students. Particularly DK and Udupi.
