Fr. Vally had a true Franciscan and Missionary spirit. I think he was inspired by late Fr. Cyril Andrade. Both did a lot of missionary work in Mallandoor, walking barefooted, helping the poor. Still people call him there Jeju Padryab. Very friendly, loving and humble Franciscan friar. Fr. Vally, May your soul rest in peace. Feel so sad.

Deeply saddened to hear the heavenly abode of Fr. Vally, who was my classmate at Barkur High School, then missed contact for about 4 decades, again came in contact while in New York, we were in close contact until he returned to India for good. He was a kind person, very good as Priest, he had a lot of following in New York, so in India too, he will be missed. Thank you for the many years you served in the community. May his soul rest in Peace.
