Bengaluru woman fined Rs 1.36 lac for violating traffic rules 270 times

Bengaluru, Apr 8: A woman has been fined Rs 1.36 lac for violating traffic rules on 270 occasions.

The woman was found in violation of the helmet rule by not wearing head protection gear and was also caught using her mobile phone while riding her two-wheeler.

Riding an Activa scooter, the woman repeatedly violated traffic rules, including jumping signals and driving her vehicle on the wrong side in one-way lanes.

According to the police, the woman frequently travels in Subbaiahnapalya, Cox Town in Banaswadi and nearby areas. She was apprehended after police officers took a photo of her vehicle and shared it on Twitter.
