Bantwal, Apr 8: A man entered a house in Pudu, within the rural police station limits of the taluk, and stabbed an individual.
The victim, Mohammed Rameez (19), a resident of the 10th Milestone in Pudu village, is currently hospitalized. Abdul Rahiman is the accused, and the police are actively searching for him.
Rameez, who sustained serious injuries, is undergoing medical treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru, where his condition is reported to be critical. It is alleged that the accused, Abdul Rahiman, contacted Rameez by phone, ensured he was at home, entered the house, and stabbed him twice with a knife before fleeing the scene.
The motive behind the attack is suspected to be related to old enmity or a financial deal.
The Bantwal rural police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
