Udupi, Apr 8: For the first time, IAS, IPS, and KAS officers of the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency dressed in Yakshagana costumes to raise awareness about voting.

Organized by the Sweep Committee in the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, this initiative is part of various programmes aimed at encouraging voters to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Zilla panchayat CEO Prateek Bayal, ADC Mamata Devi, Kundapur sub-division AC Rashmi, and SP of the coastal police force Mithun donned the attire of Badaguthittu Yakshagana artistes.

They appeared in prominent public locations across the district, urging people to participate in the voting process to ensure 100% voter turnout in the upcoming elections.
