Udupi, Apr 3: The official nomination filings of the two major political party candidates, BJP and Congress, for the Udupi - Chikkamagaluru constituency have revealed that both candidates are in the Crorepati bracket.
BJP candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary declares assets worth Rs 3,58,91,020 in movable and immovable assets. Conversely, Congress candidate Jayaprakash Hegde declares assets valued at Rs 15,34,42,637 in movable and immovable properties.
Kota Srinivas Poojary's movable offshore assets amount to Rs 31,95,082, while his spouse Shantha holds Rs 10,29,027, and his three children have a combined movable asset worth Rs 21,06,401. The value of Kota Srinivas Poojary's immovable assets is Rs 79,95,082, with his spouse holding Rs 1,62,79,027, and all three children possessing a total of Rs 51,96,401 in immovable properties. The total value of movable and immovable properties is Rs 3,58,91,020.
