Mangaluru, Mar 22: As the Lok Sabha election approaches, scheduled for April 26 in Dakshina Kannada (DK), the district prepares for a political shakeup with fresh candidates vying for the parliamentary seat. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced Capt Brijesh Chowta as its candidate, while Padmaraj R has been named as the Congress candidate.
Dakshina Kannada, renowned for its status as an educational hub and diverse modes of transportation, stands at a crucial juncture.
