Pre-monsoon showers are very normal phenomenon when the extreme summer heat and humidity increases; but these showers, also called mango showers, should fall in the appropriate locations, at the right time, in adequate quantities to have a beneficial effect; or else they would be counterproductive! Btw, the summer temperatures in mangalore have increased by a whooping 4°C in the last 8-10 years because of rampant hacking of green cover! Please don't believe in anybody's personal opinion before doing your own research and analysis!!
