Mangaluru, March 21: SSLC examinations will be held from March 25 to April 6. There are 39 examination centers in Mangaluru Commissionerate limits.

Siddarth Goel, assistant police commissioner and special executive magistrate has announced that area up to a radius of 200 meters from the examination centers as prohibited areas so that examinations can be conducted smoothly and in a transparent manner without illegal and untoward activities.

Help in examination malpractices, distribution of answers on chits or other items or sending them has been banned. Carrying of acids, explosives and holding of weapons is banned. Showing signs regarding examination or such other activities are also banned.

Excepting the candidates writing the examination, more than five people should not gather or wander about within the prohibited area.

Xerox shops are not permitted to function one hour prior to the examination till it gets over within a radius of 200 meters near the examination centers.

Use of mobiles, bluetooth, pager and other electronic communication equipment are also banned in the examination center premises, stated Siddarth Goel in a press release.
