Bangalore, Sep 26: Today is Day 4 of the 2011 Champions League T20. It is match 6 and we are in Bangalore for the clash between Mumbai Indians and Trinidad & Tobago. Mumbai pulled off a stunner beating heavyweights Chennai Super Kings to start their tournament on a high. They are up against a team that does not know how to lose and have the best success percentage as far as the Champions League goes. There will be a match within a match as Kieron Pollard will be up against his fellow countrymen, but as the opponents. Stay tuned for the toss and team updates..

Harbhajan: We had a good match in the last one but we can't become complacent. I have played many games here so I know the wicket. A lot of games have been won chasing in this ground so I would have bowled first as well. We didn't bat well in the middle overs during the last match so hope to improve on that. Davy Jacobs is injured and out of the tournament. Hopefully the other guys will take up the responsibility.

T & T Won the toss and elected to bat first

Ganga: We will bat first. Conditions look very good and we will look to put up a good total on the board. No changes in the team. All the guys are doing well so we don't have to make any changes. We had a little break and we went around the city a bit. Our focus is on the game and look to have a good game. Pollard knows us inside out and vice versa, hopefully we can do well against him.

Pitch report: The pitch will be a good one and will offer a good contest between bat and ball. There is a bit of grass on the track and that will help the seamers. The captain winning the toss will look to bowl first.

Preview

Mumbai Indians, having clinched a thrilling victory against Chennai Super Kings, will be hoping to maintain their winning momentum in the Champions League when they take on Trinidad and Tobago. On the other hand, the Caribbean side, having played well in the qualifiers, would be hoping to continue their winning run.

Mumbai Indians: Despite the win against Chennai, the Mumbai Indians looked pale for most part of the game, until Lasith Malinga's heroics saved them the blushes. The Sri Lankan pacer was the star with the bat as he scored a quick-fire 18-ball 37. Malinga's cameo helped Mumbai snatch a three-wicket victory in what could be a morale booster of sorts for the depleted outfit, handicapped by the absence of Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma.

Mumbai Indians will be largely depending on Davy Jacobs and Aiden Blizzard for a solid start so that the big hitters like Kieron Pollard and Andrew Symonds can continue the carnage. Indian players like Ambati Rayudu and T Suman will also have a key role to play in the middle order as they will be responsible for keeping the momentum going in the middle overs. On the bowling front, Mumbai will bank on Malinga and Harbhajan to lead the attack and pick up the wickets while the likes of Abu Nechim and Chahal would be looking to keep things tight from the other end.

Trinidad and Tobago: Darren Ganga's men cannot be taken lightly as they have the ability to spring a surprise, having come through the qualifying matches with a clean slate, winning both their games impressively. T&T, who were the 2009 finalists, will be aiming to go one better and lift the trophy and they have the players who can deliver in the shortest version of the game. T&T have a rich mix of youth and experience. They have explosive openers in Lendl Simmons and Adrian Barath. Both have been in good nick of late. The middle order consists of Darren Bravo, skipper Ganga, his younger brother Sherwin.

Leading the pace bowling battery will be Ravi Rampaul who has the ability to pick up wickets with his slower variations. Rampaul performed well in the qualifying matches and would be hoping to continue in the same vein. Spinners Samuel Badree and Sunil Narine have the ability to complement their pace ace and would be looking to make the most of the sub-continent conditions.

Team News:

Trinidad and Tobago, who sailed through the qualifiers with ease, are likely to retain the same eleven although the relatively quick Chinnaswamy track and the short boundaries might prompt them to include another pacer.

Meanwhile, the already depleted Mumbai camp had one more injury scare when Davy Jacobs hurt his leg during practice and had to be carried off on a stretcher as a precautionary measure. But according to reports, the South African is said to be fine now and is likely to play in the match.
