Mangaluru, Feb 27: The three-day DYFI State Conference concluded with the theme of amity, employment, and self-esteem. As the final part of the conference, a procession started from Kuttar junction and culminated at Unity ground, Thokkottu, featuring tableaus and a youth march.

AA Rahim, All India President DYFI; Prakash Raj, renowned actor; Jaik C Thomas, National Executive member DYFI; Muneer Katipalla, President Karnataka State Committee; B K Imthiyaz, district president, DYFI; and other leaders were present on the dias.

In his inaugural speech, AA Rahim stated, "My communicating language is Malayalam. I can't speak Kannada. Some people communicate in Tamil, and some in Telugu. Communicating in our own mother tongue or state language itself is the best protest against the BJP's 'One Nation, One Language' slogan. The Sangh Parivar wants to impose their interests and their thoughts on people. They are dead against our constitutional theme of Unity in diversity. The members of DYFI are standing on the side of the constitution and fighting against the Sangh Parivar agendas. The success of this conference itself is the best example of it."

Heavily criticizing the prime minister's actions, Prakash Raj said, "We have a leader who is a great actor and mesmerizes the people with his silly acts. He never bothers about the issues of the nation. He is busy underwater diving with his cameramen and never thinks to take the nation together. It is time to raise a voice against the foolish administration and foolish leaders."

In his speech, Muneer Katipalla challenged the local MLAs to visit the place of MSEZ, where people who lost land and homes were protesting for compensation in the form of employment. He also criticized the local MP and administration for failing to provide jobs in MRPL for locals.

Sunil Bajal, Santhosh Bajal, Krishnappa Konchady, and other leaders were also present.
