Puttur: Sword found in suspiciously parked car - Four sent to judicial custody

Puttur, Feb 21: In a late-night operation on February 19, police inspector Satish G J, along with personnel from Puttur town police station, conducted a search of a car parked suspiciously near Mukrampadi Junction, Kemminje village. During the search, a sword was discovered inside the vehicle.

The individuals identified as Kishore (36) from Goltamajalu village, Bantwal, Manoj (23) from Kabaka village, Puttur, Ashik (28) from Kabaka village, Puttur, and Sanath Kumar (24) from Padnur village, Puttur, were subsequently taken into custody for further investigation and legal action. A case under Section 25 (1B) (b) of the ARMS Act, and Act: 17/2024 was registered in Puttur town police station.

The four were produced in court on February 20. They were sent to judicial custody.
