Bantwal: Unemployed post graduate attempts to jump into Netravati river, rescued by locals

Bantwal, Feb 19: A youth, who was about to jump into the Netravati river from the bridge at Panemangaluru, was rescued by a team of local youths and handed him over to the police.

Nischith (25), son of Ananda, resident of Puttur is the youth who tried to kill himself. He has done MSW and is unemployed. As he did not get a suitable job, he was under mental depression and resorted to suicide.

Nischith had arrived on the bridge on a two-wheeler. As he was preparing himself to jump into the river, local youths Hanif alias Hanif Bhai, Salman Faris, Irfan Khaleel, Naufal C P, Tasleem Arif, Mukthar Akkarangadi, P M Arif and Mammu Goodinabali saw Nischith and prevented him from jumping and handed him over to police.

The police who have taken the youth into custody are investigating further.

    Thank God he is being saved.Dear Nishith ,suicide is not a solution.Sure it is hard to get the needed post of what you learnt.But what about taking up a small job elsewhere ?Sometimes it helps even other jobs to try.Nowadays jobs are given where only lacs or thousands are handed over.or influence.
