Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Feb 18: A young resident of Mangaluru has initiated a distinctive method to raise awareness against drug addiction, setting out on a bike ride that will span from the city to overseas destinations.

With Indian and Tulunadu flags in tow, the youth aims to cover over 25,000 to 30,000 km on his bike, traveling through Arab countries to spread awareness about the dangers of narcotics.

In ongoing efforts to combat drug addiction, the police department has implemented various programs. Now, Sharat Siri, a resident of Bajal in the city, is contributing to the fight against this menace by embarking on a bike journey to Arab countries.

Starting from Mangaluru, Siri plans to traverse through Goa, Mumbai, Muscat, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Turkey, and Pakistan, if permitted, and return to India within a span of 60 days.

The flag-off for Siri's bike ride took place at Hebich Memorial Church in Gorigudda, where he was handed the Indian tricolor and Tulunadu flags to mark the beginning of his unique anti-drug campaign.

as long as you are not one among the sponsored..... Sure bro, but you are nothing better than me. Waste of energy & resources. Who will yield to his efforts ? Alcohol and addiction (in any form) will stick to the victim with greater power.
