Bantwal: Woman jumps into Netravati river from running train

Bantwal, Feb 15: A woman jumped into the river from running train at around 6.20 am on Thursday February 15.

According to the Aadhar card available in the bag of the deceased person, railway police have suspected that the woman is Nayan M G (27), native of Tumakuru. She was travelling on Kannur-Bengaluru-Mangaluru train.

The woman jumped from the train when it was moving on the railway overbridge on Netravati river at B C Road. Railway personnel informed the matter to B C Road office and handed over her bag.

The motive for suicide and identity of the person is yet to be established. The mortal remains that were floating in the river were brought up by local diving experts Mohammed and team and was shifted to Bantwal government hospital for post-mortem examination.

Bantwal city police station ASI Devappa Vijayakumar visited the spot and are investigating further.

    One hell of a jump .... She made sure of a foolproof method... Netravati river has become focal point for suicide travelers... High time sides are raised to the levels that people can not jump or climb... But they say if one has decided to go no human can stop that person... World has become more wretched than ever and many decide to leave the race half ways... RIP to the departed young soul...

    How many suicides cimmitted in this year? Mental disorder is increasing . I think peoblem is we dont have skilled and friendly psychiatrist around. We need to ti highlight this area and make it friendly accessible visits to the doctors or else send psychiatrist doctors receuve more knowledge how to deal with mental disorder patientsto

    Psychiatrists who are sitting in clinic looting maximum from innocent mental patients parents or guardians. No receipts or bills for the payments and they have their own peoples pharmacies..

    When i visited a psychiatrist for less sleep and complained since 60 hours i couldn't sleep she said 'its okay 60 hours sleepless nights we too don't sleep when we are students ' public ......you tell me this doctor deserves a slap from me?

    Eva kirem you should have told you brought something to him to a present, .They mint money ,see who is the person.When big shots come in,they know there is income for them.Genreal ones are not so much in their scale.Find it sad the yong woman sucided.Or someone pushed her out? Is also possible if misused and then throw away?May her soul rest in peace.Better trains should have closed doors when moving.
