Mangaluru, Jan 31: A car got crushed in between a pickup vehicle and a goods lorry at Thokottu junction on Wednesday January 31.
The car found itself trapped between a sudden-braking pickup in the front and an approaching goods lorry from behind. The swift car, unable to control its speed, collided with the pickup ahead, and the goods lorry, loaded with gravel, subsequently rammed into the car.
Miraculously, three girls in the car, who were returning from work, escaped without injuries.
However, the car suffered severe damage to both its front and rear portions. The accident caused temporary traffic disruption on the road.
A case has been registered at the Mangaluru South traffic police station.
