Kundapur: Epitome of love – Man celebrates 25th wedding anniversary with mannequin of deceased wife

Kundapur, Dec 1: A man of the taluk celebrated silver jubilee of his wedding with a mannequin of his late wife as per her wishes before she breathed her last.

Laxmijanardhana auditorium at Badakere in the taluk witnessed such a rare happening two days ago. The photo of man with his wife’s mannequin has gone viral on social media.

Founder of Saptagiri Cooperative Society, Sadguru Chandrashekhar is the person who celebrated his silver wedding anniversary in this unique manner. He fulfilled he wishes of his late wife who wanted their silver wedding anniversary to be in the same manner. His wife Suma died of illness last month.

The mannequin looked ditto like the late wife of Chandrashekhar. Hundreds of people took part in the celebration. The mannequin that was kept between husband and two daughters was so lively that it was difficult to make out that it is a mannequin. There were tears in the eyes of most of the people who graced the occasion.

    Such news I heard some years back who celebrated same way.In mangalore.I wouldnt appriciate this such celebration .She died only short time back,a mannequinof his wife?I would runaway seeing this if I was a member of family.Why all this?Are we in a world of fake celebration ?He could do it without mannequin to show he loved still even after her death.Fke world.
