Dubai, Sep 22: “All religions preach peace. When people live like brothers, society will develop. Youth of today are going overseas after obtaining just primary education. This is a big tragedy,” said Puttur MLA Ashok Kumar Rai Kodimbady.

Ashok visited Karnataka Islamic Center (KIC) and appreciated their work. He also congratulated leaders of the community, who arranged the programme of KIC Milad conference. KICUAE office bearers felicitated the MLA.

In his welcome speech, chairman of KIC Jabbar Baitadka said, “Earlier, the KIC was limited to UAE. However, today it has joined hands with other Arab nations and has become KIC GCC. This has increased our responsibilities. All have to join hands with KIC Academy KUmbra organization, which is giving value and disciplined education.”

KIA Academy director Haji Mohiuddin Dibba said, “If there is only one leader in the whole world who does not have a photograph then it is the Prophet. He is not only identified only as a religious preacher but as promoter of equality.”

Ustaad Hamid Musliyaar said, “Every incident of the life of Prophet is recorded in history. During a time, when women were seen as lowest in society, Islam gave them highest honour.”

Chief guest of the programme KICGCC president and NRI entrepreneur Ashraf Shah Manthoor said that Ashok Kumar Rai is striving to build a new Puttur full of brotherhood and communal harmony. Ashraf sought the help of MLA to put in effort to help implement schemes for NRIs.

Abdul Khader Baitadka, who presided over the function explained the life of Prophet and said, “Kuran has the mention of each and every invention that is done by human beings in modern times. Prophet is a great human being who took the society towards light. He is the last prophet of this humankind.”

NRI entrepreneur Yusuf Haji Berike, president of Darunnoor Kashipatna UAE committee Mohammed Madavu, president of Shamsul Ulama Todar Saleem Moodbidri, president of Noorul Huda Madannoor Sharif Kavu, president of Daarul Hasaniya Salmara Anees Purusharakatte, Shamsuddin Sooralpadi, secretary of Darussalam Beltangady Ibrahim Atoor and Vikaya chairman Nawaz B C were present.

Milad committee secretary Razik Haradi rendered vote of thanks. The programme was anchored by Azhar Handel. Abdul Razak Manila, Ashraf Artikere, Abdul Salam Bappalige, Abdul Razak Sompadi, Badruddin Henthar, Sharif Kodineer, Asif Maril, Arif Koornadka, Ashique Koornadka, Jabir Bettampady, Nasir Bappalige, Jabir Bappalige, Isaac Kudthamuger and Usman Maril extended their cooperation.
