Mangaluru, May 27: “Praveen Nettaru’s wife will be given a permanent job by the Congress party,” said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) co-ordinator and former corporator Prathibha Kulai.

Addressing the media here on Saturday, May 27, she said, “MP Nalin Kumar Kateel is not capable enough to give a permanent job to Praveen Nettaru’s wife. She was working for a minimum salary at the chief minister's office. We will take the initiative to give a permanent government job to Praveen Nettaru’s wife.

“Nalin can resign from the post of MP. I will provide job to Praveen Nettaru’s wife. Billawa youths in Hindu organisations have been used by the BJP for their benefit. Nettaru family belong to the Billawa community and the Congress party will work on to provide job for Nettaru’s wife,” she said.

Prathibha further said, “The Billawa community is vast in number. Two MLCs of the coastal Karnataka belong to our community. We were expecting our community leaders to be made ministers in the legislative assembly. B K Hariprasad had worked for the party with complete dedication and had never worked for power. He has been a role model for most of the Congress leaders. He will never resign from his post for power.

“The Congress party has given importance to the Billawa community and the party will never let down our aspirations. We congratulate Madhu Bangarappa, who is representative of Ediga Samaja, for being made a minister in the government,” she said.
