Mangaluru, May 23: Nawaz Sharif, a resident near Valachil, Adyar, Mangaluru against whom cases at Mangaluru north police station under registration No. 46/2020 section 143, 147, 323, 504, 427, 307 R/w 149 IPC and under section 27 Arms Act were registered, had gone abroad and was absconding without being present for court hearing during the last one year.
The court had released warrants several times for his arrest. An LOC was issued against him.
Om Das ASI, Sunil Kumar PC 311 and Niranjan PC 543 who received information of the arrival of the accused at the Mumbai international airport from Dubai took Nawaz Sharif into custody from the airport and produced him to the court.
