Udupi, Mar 14: Ravi, a resident of Hubballi who was reported missing to the Udupi city police station, was found lying sick among shrubs beside the Katapady national highway on Tuesday. Social worker Vishu Shetty, along with other activists, rushed to the scene and rescued him. They then took him to the district hospital for treatment.

Ravi had been working as a daily wage laborer when he went missing, prompting his relatives to search for him in Udupi. However, as they were unable to find him, they filed a missing person's report with the Udupi city police station before returning home. Now that he has been found, his relatives have been informed.

Social activist Ramadas Palan Udyavar assisted in the rescue operation, while the social concern of Katapady resident Sadhana Pai and social worker Vishu Shetty, who provided Ravi with food and emergency care, is worth praising.
