Puttur, Mar 13: Locals caught two men, who entered the house of a 13-year-old girl, in order to sexually harass her on Saturday March 11 night and handed them over to police. This incident took place at Kallapu of Karaya village under Beltangady taluk.

Hasainar (24) and Abbas (30), resident of Koila in Kadaba taluk, are the accused, who were caught by locals and handed over to the police.

Both accused were working in Karaya village for the past three days cutting trees. They used to go often to the house of the victim girl on the pretext of drinking water. Accused Hasainar went to the house of the victim on the evening of Friday and gave her a piece of paper and asked the victim girl to call him on the number and threatened her with life.

At around 8 pm on Saturday, accused Hasainar, arrived to the house of the victim girl, along with his accomplice Abbas and entered the house forcefully, took the girl to the room inside the house and tried to sexually assault her. Girl and her mother screamed and neighbours rushed to help and caught the culprits.

Police arrested the duo and slapped a case under POCSO and presented them to the court.

What are you trying to imply here? What these men did to the girl is not a crime or a less crime. When the modesty of women is not repected in any manner, a crime is a crime. Lets not measure it nor measure the consequences of it. Dont bring, political, religious angel to it

Rationalist, Mangalore just retrospect bro..................... i have never supported any such acts on minors. I cannot declare what is black is white too. May be, I was commenting on governments part when BJP was intentionally discriminating and suppressing certain community for pollical agenda. Las few murders and sympathies were poured by our honourable CM only on behalf of Praveen Hing activist and also financal support. such partiality shows BJP's double engine role , sorry, double role in governing the citizens.

As long as those elements have political backup, none can stop them from doing such crimes. Somewhere you are also a supporter of such political party who are in to appeasement politics.... just retrospect bro.

Our Indian laws are sufficient to handle these cases. Unless you know complete facts don't give your judgement. Many a times facts are entirely different than the allegations. Fixing minorities in cases has become a trend these days.

Playing victim card is not the new trend. Most of the victims will be outside their fold. In their backyard or otherwise people outside their fold will allways be in fear for their underage girls.

They entered the house forcefully, those inside the house screamed for help, neighbours heard and rushed for help, caught those innocent culprits red handed. Now whatever is hidden will come out in lockup.
