Beltangady: Insurance company employee ends life by jumping into river

Beltangady, Mar 7: An insurance company employee, identified as Ashik Kumar, ended his life by jumping into the Gurupura River on Sunday, March 5.
He was 51-years-old and a resident of Kashipatna.

According to reports, Ashik was facing financial difficulties in recent days. He had previously worked on the renovation of Basadi in Kelada Pete, Belthangady, and had been associated with various organizations including JCI, where he worked as the president of JCI Zonal 15 Belthangady and as a Zonal Officer. He had also opened a new venture, Mahaveera Electronics, in Moodbidrin. However, he later moved to Mangaluru and began working at a private insurance company, where he eventually settled.

Ashik is survived by his wife and one son.

The police have suspected that his financial problems may have led him to take this drastic step.

    In this finance business more risk than profit is there and a risk is programmed.Have to be careful .There are more fake investors there than real ones.Have to be carefull.When it doesnt function people immediately suicide .Not thinking about their family who has to bear all this problems.Did his body found or only mentioned into river ?Let us hope he is on the other side without anybody notice.?Many times it happend so to fool people and they were over the hump .Wait and pray he didnt suicide.

    This is result of new budget released by Nirmala Sitharaman. As per Govts 2023-24 budget,They made new tax regime as default, which clearly conveys that public no need to go for any tax saving benefits. so nobody interested in any kind of insurance or any other benefits. which impacted lakhs of agents who's daily earnings are based on these kind of insurance or other benefits.

    Maintain a healthy diet ..Do not Eat sugar and its derivatives .. It really creates ruckus with your body and mind .. even a financially healthy person could go into depression, anxiety and ultimately suicide. Om Shanthi to the departed soul ..may his family get strength to overcome the loss.
