Puttur: Accused absconding in 15-year-old ganja case arrested

Puttur, Feb 6: Police have arrested Mohammed Basheer, a resident of Naringana as he had remained in hiding and had not presented himself for a court trial related to a 15-year-old ganja case.

Basheer was arrested in a ganja case in 2009 and was out on bail but had not appeared in court for the last five years to undergo the trial proceedings.

A warrant was issued against the accused. 

Mohammed Basheer was arrested under the guidance of Puttur town police inspector.

We all know Sharukhs son, Feroz Khans son,Hrithik roshan and most of the bollywood fraternity have been caught consuming and dealing in drugs but released in a wink .

    I still remember my mother's words... Never get caught with 3 fellows in life... Police, lawyer and doctor... It will be like Haavina dwesha... In this case it lasted more than 12 years....
