Om Shanthi... Contractors should know basic safety requirements and make their labours understand the same.

Contractors don't give much importance to the life of labourers and make them to work even if there is risk involved in such work strict law must be enforced so the safety of workers is not compromised

It is easy to comment once the incident has taken place... Accidents more severe do happen even in advanced countries where there are strict safety rules in place... Jobs like high level work are at times having unexpected surprises like sudden wind and seemingly strong supports giving away... At times safety is in individual's hands and any slip up can be fatal... I have seen accidents in the safest western managed construction sites in Dubai... Most unfortunate incident... RIP to the departed soul....

Prakash Manipal sure accidents are happening everywhere. But in advanced countries are taking resposibility and have to secure their workers .in case any problems arise insurance have to pay thats why they are insured too.Without it are not suppose to let work .Here I hope his employer will pay his family compansation.May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to his family.
