Mangaluru: Attempt to sexually harass minor girl – UP native arrested

Mangaluru, Jan 26: Bajpe police arrested a youth, native of Uttar Pradesh on the accusation of attempting to sexually assault a minor girl.

According to the complaint filed by the parents of the girl, labourers of north Indian origin, accused Gopal Binda (23), a native of Gazipur district of Uttar Pradesh sneaked into the room of north Indian labourers living near Malavoor check dam of Maravoor village and tried to sexually assault a minor girl on January 23 at around 1 pm.

A case under POCSO is filed against the accused and Bajpe police are investigating further.
