Hindu outfit files complaint against religious conversion in Ramnagar

Ramnagar, Nov 30 (IANS): Hindu Jagarana Vedike and villagers on Wednesday lodged a police complaint against alleged forced religious conversions at a farm house in this district of the state.

They demanded vacating of the farm house located in the limits of M.K. Doddi police station and removal of crosses installed in government land.

According to the complaint, missionaries have allegedly set up an illegal prayer hall in Kannamangala village near Channapatna town.

Everyday, more than 200 people are brought from other parts of the state and forcibly converted to Christianty. DJ music and advanced loud speakers are being used to brainwash people, the complaint stated.

When the authorities failed to address villagers' complaints, they approached the Hindu Jagaran Vedike. The complaint demands that the illegal prayer hall be vacated and the usage of the land limited to license conditions of local administration.

The villagers and the Hindu outfit have also demanded that the cross and statues of Jesus Christ installed in the government land be removed.

Noise pollution due to religious functions held to convert people, they said, is another nuisance. The complaint also demands to stop religious conversion by bringing people from other places.

Holding one Dennis George and his family, Alwin and his associates responsible for this, the villagers said that when they questioned them on the development, they issued a life threat to them.

The villagers had also staged a protest in this regard. The police have registered a case and taken up investigation.

I seriously think it is high time that we too go all out defending tooth and nail, our rights as those dalit brothers and sisters are doing, upon embracing Buddhism in thousands. What are we afraid of? Why should one be afraid of these unruly, anti-social thugs? Their agenda is certainly not peace but division.

Per government census at partition in 1947 there were 2.9% Christians, today 2.2 % are Christians. If such mass conversion were taking place, the percentage of Christians should have gone up and not down. Secondly, there are 117 countries where Christians are in a majority, why don't we hear of conversions taking place there. Could Dennis George and his family, Alwin and his associates move there and freely convert over 35 Million Hindus settled in those countries to Christianity?

Please convert yourself from jobless to employed so that you won’t have time for others matters. Worship god in peaceful ways in private property should not be your problem unless it create loud speakers which cause issues. In this case look like it is all jealousy and public attention required by some of you which is not acceptable. Many convert from Christianity to Hindu are you protesting for the same? Even people convert to Christianity only result will be more social services and charity work they will do than no harm like you guys are doing. Look for bettter. Society than troubles. How many Christians you see begging , involved with communism not many or none why? It’s a peaceful society

The news reads: Quote "According to the complaint, missionaries have allegedly set up an illegal prayer hall in Kannamangala village near Channapatna town." unquote. ......Earlier , When people in some places of Karnataka protested against demolishing the illegal temples by the Municipality; Bommai brought the Law called Act to "Protection of Religious Structures". Now, ask these sanskari hypocrite people to protest against that act which protected the illegal occupation. Shame on their mentality.

Before complaining about other religious people making noise and noise pollution, what about illegal structures erected on the roadside and giving nuisance noise? Isn't it noise pollution? First set an example and then complain about others. At least your own people will trust you.

Dear My Hindu Friends, It's not conversion . People are fleeing Hindu religion because they are discriminated by so called Brahmins. By not letting them inside their temples, Education Institutions etc . And in some companies non-Brahmins Hindus are not promoted .(Example. Bangalore IT companies) . Everyone wants to be treated equally. Why don't Hindu Sangha unite and abolish caste system . I guarantee everyone will join Hinduism. Hinduism is a beautiful religion and a way of life. There was no caste system in Ancient Hindu civilization. If you think I am wrong, Let me give you an example, RSS will never appoint a non-Brahmin as their leader .

Addition my comment I like to add few words from the book "Annihilation of Caste by B. R. Ambedkar" Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was discrimated because he was born to a Lower caste family and before converting to Buddhism he told " I solemnly assure you that I will not die as a Hindu". Don't believe me ? Read his book "Annihilation of Caste by B. R. Ambedkar" .

Who believes in forced conversion? Embracing any religion cannot be performed by force unless the person accepts and follows the religious belief and faith voluntarily from one's own heart and mind. It is not forcing or pouring 90 ml in one's mouth by force. (Like, making a child drink bitter medicine) ha ha ha ! There are so many foreigners follow Hindu Religious customs and poojas but what proof is that they forget their original religious faith. As to the Noice pollution it is concerned authorities' duty make those people understand.

@RK, Proof that Dr. Zakir is dangerous to society: "Believe me, I Promise". In fact, Based on the so called "I Promise" Evidences; The Interpol refused to even acknowledge the request from Modi Government to issue Red Corner Notice against Zakir Naik. Any one can attach a link of his available videos in the internet where he speaks against our Nation. He simply quotes from the scriptures from all religions.
