Mangaluru: Inebriated man kills wife case – Husband never mended his ways

Mangaluru, Nov 29: Quarrel among a couple ended in the brutal killing of the wife by the husband on November 27 night at Palladakodi near Durganagara of Tenka Ekkaru village under Ekkaru gram panchayat near Bajpe.

It has come to light that deceased Sarita and her husband Durgesh who is accused of killing her, are from different castes and married after falling in love 12 years ago. The couple have a 10-year-old son.

The quarrel took place on some family issue between the couple and Durgesh hit Saritha with a wooden log. She received sharp injury on her forehead near the left eye and other minor injuries on her hands and legs. As no one took her to hospital, she died of bleeding.

In a complaint that is filed with Bajpe police, it is said that accused Durgesh used to abuse and beat Saritha without any reason every now and then. Relatives advised Durgesh umpteen times to mend his behaviour, but he never changed.

City police commissioner N Shashi Kumar, ACP Mahesh Kumar and police inspector of Bajpe police station Prakash visited the spot and conducted inspection.

    He must be by now sick with drinking alcohol everyday.Such people never listen to any good advice,but let them treat themselves.They never go to doctor.Thatswhy someone from relatives must take them to treat.Nothing helps now.Wife is dead.He will be injail .Poor son have to be in someones relatives if any house.
