I use this route once in a week. Now for Cars, the Toll collected at Suratkal is Rs.60 and the Toll collected at Hejmadi is Rs.40. After removal of the Toll Gate at Suratkal, hope the Toll at Hejmadi is not increased. From 01 December 2022, if the Toll at Hejmadi is increased, it's nothing but cheating the public.

Time to end this Toll Gate Loot from all roads. When there were roads without toll didn't the past govts maintain them? Why increase their width & start looting people by transferring the build, operate & make hay model of development. As per available data the World Bank & IMF are forcing govts from all countries to borrow debts from them in the name of development & start to repay their loan by raising taxes & toll. Why people need to pay toll when they pay Road Tax which is very heavy in Karnataka State & again pay heavy taxes on fuel & again pay the hafta to travel on roads? As per the latest report India has borrowed heavily to build roads & the amount collected from all the toll booths isn't sufficient to pay their interest & instalments, for this reason constant raising of toll instead of decreasing them every year is happening. Unless people wake up this won't stop.

When govt is of the thieves, by the thieves and for the thieves , this is what we get. Now I am not blaming any party particularly because all of them are equally corrupt. Selecting any is like selecting death by poison or death by stabbing.
