Kundapur: Youth dies of electric shock while cutting tree branches

Kundapur, Nov 23: A youth came in contact with a live cable and died of electrocution while cutting the branches of a tree at Nayakwadi junction, Gujjadi village here.

The deceased is Sujay (20), son of a local resident Narasimha Nayakwadi.

As there was Deepotsava at Sangameshwara temple at Nayakwadi junction, he was cutting the branches of a tree to set up lighting at about 3.15 pm on Wednesday, November 23. However, he came in contact with the KPTCL live line while cutting the branches and fell down due to electric shock.

He was rushed in an ambulance to Kundapur Adarsh hospital. The doctors there examined and said that he had passed away.

His mortal remains are kept at Kundapur morgue. A police case in this connection is yet to be registered.

    Who in the world would allow a 20 year old to cut branches who don't even know what is good conductor and bad conductor of electricity. All mobile and whatsapp graduates. Why don't they use the useless sanghis for all these work?

    @ RK, Mangalore Surathkal, We all know who supported Afghanis and gave them military support and weapons who went gate crashing Nawaz Sharif's grand daughters wedding in Pakistan. This is called 'Doghlapan'. Ask your cheddis why Afghan is so dear to them and why drugs from Afghanistan makes it to the ports of Gujarat in tonnes. A million dollar question. Well, That question is beyond your limit to ponder. Grow up!
