Mangaluru: Cruise n Dine's second seafood floating restaurant opens in city

Mangaluru Nov 6: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath inaugurated ‘Cruise n Dine’ seafood floating restaurant at Casia Tile Factory, Lobo River View on Saturday, November 5.

The Cruise n Dine owned by Charan Das V Karkera and Likhitha will be open from 12 noon to 10 pm. The 250-seater Cruise n Dine restaurant specializes in seafood at affordable prices. This is the second Cruise n Dine restaurant, the first one being at Bunder.

The customers can view the Ullal Netravathi river and enjoy the coastal cuisine. Along with the dine, the boat will travel upto Kulur.

MLA Vedavyas Kamath said, "Charan Das and his family have started their second venture of Cruise n Dine floating restaurant. The customers now can taste delicious coastal cuisine especially fish. It is not easy to start a business and Charan Das has strived hard to start the business and managed to extend it as well. Charan Das also needs to be very careful in managing the customers, especially children as the boat is an open area, He needs to take some precautionary measures to avoid any kind of untoward incidents."

Jagadish Boloor from Yojaka India Pvt Ltd, Nithin Kumar, former chairman of Fisheries Development Co-operative Ltd, FM Lobo, owner of Lobo’s River View,
Jeppu, corporator Bhanumathi and Shailesh were present.

Lakshmish compered the inaugural ceremony.
