Udupi, Oct 26: With the merry occasion of Christmas just a few months away, to double the joy of Christmas for the second time, Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises, Uzward, in association with St Mary’s English Medium School (CBSE) Kannarpady will be organizing 'Natal Sobhan 22,' an exclusive competition filled with Christmas fiesta.
'Natal Sobhan 22' will be a unique competition comprising an array of acts, singing, dance (tableau) related to the Christmas and which also needs to give the meaningful message to the society.
The competition is scheduled to be held on Sunday, December 11 at St Mary’s English Medium School (CBSE) Kannarpady, Udupi.
The winning team will be awarded with Rs 25,000 cash prize along with trophy, while second and third place winners will get Rs 20,000 and 15,000 cash prize and trophies respectively.
The last date to register entries is Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Rules and Regulations:
• Anyone can participate in the competition, no restrictions of any sort.
• The minimum number of participants in a team is 12, team can have maximum of 25 members.
• Maximum time limit for team is 15+3 minutes.
• Teams are expected to perform acts, dance, singing (carols, tableau) related to Christmas.
• The performance should deliver a good message relevant to society.
• CD or recorded music can be used for the dance and acts. Carol singing should be live.
• Usage of music tracks is not allowed for carol singing.
• Konkani, Kannada, English languages can be used for the performance. Mixture of two languages is restricted.
• Teams should provide accurate details in the registration form provided by the organizers.
• 5 minutes will be provided for stage setting.
• The performances should not hurt others.
• Performances should be a mixture of act, dance and singing.
• Usage of fire and animals is restricted.
• Teams should clean the stage after their performances.
• Certificate of participation will be awarded to all the participants.
• Judges' decision is final. No further discussion will be entertained on the decision of judges.
• Performances of every team will be telecast on Daijiworld 24x7 TV channel in a series of episodes during Christmas
• Maximum of 16 teams will be given entry to the competition on first come first serve basis.
• 3 consolations prizes will be awarded if the participating number of teams is above 12.
• Last date for registration : Sunday, November 20
Note:
• Musicians are allowed to participate in more than one team.
• A musician cannot perform as musician in one team and as participant in another team
• 3 instruments can be used by every team.
• Participant of one team is not allowed to participate in another team.
• Every team is allowed to bring 5 members for helping with the arrangements.
