Monthi Fest: The Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail
Mangalore, Sep 22: Monthi Fest was celebrated at the Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail here on September 8.
The solemn eucharist was presided over by Fr Peter D'Souza, the parish priest and the homily was given by Fr Naveen Pinto the assistant parish priest. Fr Felix Noronha, was also present.
The celebration was coupled with the blessing of new corn, offering flowers to Mother Mary, then the procession towards the Church along with the band increased the beauty and the sacredness of the celebration.
After the Mass sugarcane was distributed to all. It was really a joyful celebration.
