Udupi: Minister Eshwarappa says there is no opposition in state

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (HB/SP)

Udupli, Jan 12: "There is no opposition party in Karnataka. People sit inside their air-conditioned rooms and keep tweeting. This has become a habit for many," criticized rural development and panchayat raj minister K S Eshwarappa.

Addressing a press meet at Manipal Inn, Manipal on Tuesday January 12, the minister said that the Congress has been decimated in Karnataka. He said that both Kumaraswamy and Siddaramaiah are day-dreaming of becoming chief minister again.

The minister pledged to teach a fitting lesson to those who raise pro-Pakistan slogans. He hastened to add that many among the Muslims are patriots and all are not traitors. "We have never said that we do not need Muslim votes. Everyone who is a patriot is a BJP man. The Congress leaders try to appease Muslim community and is under the illusion that all of them vote for their party, he commented. He advised the Congress to change its mindset.

About the issue of politicising vaccination, Eshwarappa said that the opposition in the state lacks political awareness and it does not know where one should play politics. He said nothing can be done about such things.

Eshwarappa stated that supply of vaccines in the state is being systematically conducted. He said that the government would be happy if the Congress cooperates with it. If not, he said, the Congress would be sidelined.

There is practically no opposition to BJP in Karnataka because BJP has bought all the corrupt opposition members from other parties. But now they have gained their own internal oppostion party.

That's true indeed. No strong opposition and BJP is taking all the pride and free ride as they wish.
In other words BJP was shown the path to success because of Congress down fall. Splinter opposition parties are dispersed to their only hiding place for protection. Rahul can never dance.
