Mumbai, Oct 31: Billavara Association Goregaon, here, held a meeting at Lalith Hotel, on Friday evening to pay tribute to late Jaya C Suvarna, former president of Billavara Association, here, National Billava Mahamandala honorary president and Bharath Cooperative Bank Mumbai former president, who passed away recently.
Billavara Association officials and office bearers and local elite people offered their tributes. They unanimously agreed to the written request of Goregaon local office honorary president, J V Kotian to erect statues of Jaya C Suvarna at Billavara Association head office and Lalita Rukkarama Salian Charitable Trust Mulki premises.
Goregaon local office secretary, Shashidhar R Bangera conducted the meeting.
