Mangaluru: Photographer Dinesh Shetty stabbed by miscreants inside his studio

Mangaluru, Oct 28: In a shocking incident, photographer Dinesh Shetty of Trisha Studio in Farangipete was reported to have been stabbed with machetes inside his studio by miscreants. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, October 28.

As per sources, Shetty was immediately admitted to AJ Hospital. 

The studio is located in Poonja complex, in Farangipete here. The victim Dinesh Shetty is also a BJP acitvist.

Bantwal DySP Valentine D’Souza, police circle inspector T D Nagaraj and SI Prasanna have visited the spot for inspection.

Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Photographer's Association has also condemned the incident. The Association has appealed to district in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary and the police department to bring the assailants to justice. Karandadi Shridhar Shettigar district president of South Kanara Photographer's Association has stated that they will be forced to protest in case the accused are not arrested immediately.

    Horrible.Day by day such criminal acts are increasing instead of declining.In future one should install a alarm system at doors of suspected attackers to weapon careers. No we are in a war Nation not in a peaceful community.who knows who is the next.Hope he didnt get severe wounds.wish him fast recovery.keep always a cctv camera in your offices in every or entry rooms. one never know who all come in.
