Udupi, Oct 25: A young woman died under suspicious circumstances in a private hospital of the city on the night of Saturday, October 24.

The family members of the 21-year-old deceased woman have expressed suspicion about the circumstances in which the young woman died.

The woman was in a live-in relationship for six to seven months with a 24-year-old man, and they were residing at Ambagilu here. The man used to work as an interior designer. Sources said that he was already married, but had kept it a secret from the young woman.

The woman, who came to know about his first marriage, went under depression. She was admitted to a private hospital in the city by the man. However, she died in the hospital, and since then the man has disappeared. His mobile phone is also switched off.

Sources said that the woman had fought with the man's wife.

We indians follow blindly the western culture and the result is in front of our eyes. Centuries old traditions have been instituted by our ancestors to keep the society conducive for a happy family life and balanced value based society. Anybody goes against it, will face the negative consequences for sure.

I dont think we Indians need to be taught how to rape, kill, mutilate, adulterate and bribe. If western culture was so bad, how they are so prosperous and peaceful ?

Chandu karla why do you defend the boy who was living with the girl without telling that he is already married? Is it not a cheating towards her?If she knew she would certainly not make friendship I feel.It is always boys who indulge by either rapes ,or murder after their will is done.Gone are they, promising marriage and take her out and not willing to marry later or no news.Of course girls too are sometimes believe lightly and fall to their promise. They too are bit responsible for their fault. Now girl is dead.she is now looser.parents too .Heartfelt sympathies to them.May her soul rest in peace.Hope the killer will be caught fast.may be she wanted to marry and his wife got wind from it and had some fight?

if the girl died suspicious death, the man can be charged with murder / abetment to suicide...

any case, he can be charged for Cheating Sec 415, since he did not disclose fact of marriage... In all probability, there was understanding for marriage between the two...

There is a saying "do good and feel good". If you follow Satan you will definately be cheated and get proper treatment. What is this live in relation. It is nothing but livign like animal. Why dont u get married and lead respectable life. The man who cheated this young girl shouldbe handged in public. This is good lesson for our young generation who think that living like westerns is our success. Dears, dont follow the westerners who have no family life. They live like animals. Dont look for their white skin. They have no manners. They prefer to live naked. Do you also prefer to follow them and live naked. Shame on you for following western people. Respect indian culture and live peacefully with family members. How come this girl chose to live with the guy without investigating his past. Dear girls and boys , pelase be cautious and dont get trapped in promise by any one.

Why to blame western culture? They never told us to follow their ways of life. It is we, including you follow them. They never told us to use cell phones, internet, facebook and so on. In our culture how many devils you want to see!!!!!!

This is not an issue of any culture. Such unfortunate incidents can happen anywhere including western countries. Difference is in the west victims of rape or false promises don’t shy away from acting against the culprit. They are bold enough to drag the criminals to the police and court. In our country it may take another generation for victims to reach their level.

Where are we heading? Phrases like “live in relationship” or “in a relationship” were unheard of over 25 years ago, at least in our part of the country.

When daughter was in live-in relationship some neighbors must have advised her parents and her parents must have answered 'she is our daughter what is you problem' - she would stay with whomever she wishes?
I seen similer incidents in my old neighborhood earlier.

Maybe deceased family members are sleeping & suddenly wake up when their daughter dies.
They already knows she is in living relationship with that rogue why they didn't take action.
    Our culture is bleeding.
Living relationship is not our culture.
Parents just think how difficult for you to build up 21yr old daughter.
If you little bit serious towards your daughter means this mishap will not happen.

Live-in relation for 6 months and now the parents of the girl have woken up after all such bad consequence. Nothing but self invited way of life and the disaster. The man will be caught. How long he can play hide & seek. He deserves to be punished on many counts.
